K9 Fun Works is a small home based business located in sunny El Paso, Texas and owned by Dina Whitehouse. Dina has lived in El Paso for 14 years and has been showing dogs in the southwest for the last 10 years, primarily in obedience (AKC). Dina is a member of a small family of great dane breeders, owners & exhibitors called Chromadane, a current member and served as President (2006-2008)as well as former Training Director (2005-2009) of Rio Grande Obedience Dog Club, and a member of the Great Dane Club of America. In addition, Dina is an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator (# 6296), TDI (Therapy Dogs International) Certified Evaluator (#845), and a certified member of the National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors (#1084), and is a past volunteer for (and founder of) the William Beaumont Army Medical Center Human Animal Bond Program.

Chroma Pride of the Regiment UDX CGC (Guidon, great dane-retired-pictured below)
Chroma Gamble N Rose UDX RE CGC (Rosie, great dane- currently working on accumulating OM points- 114 and counting, and OTCH points- 22 and counting....)
HIT Chroma WHD Allons! UD CGC (Dare- sadly, this promising young dog left us too early- lost to a severe subclinical infection in June, just a month after finishing his UD)
Caffeine Addict, CD CGC (Kona,rescued PAL Beligian Malinois). Kona recently started started her obedience career in Novice B with 4 days of trials in El Paso in Jan, 2012 at 11 months old. She earned a 197 & a first place her first time in the ring, qualified all 4 days, placed all 4 days, and ended the weekend with a 195.5, another first, and the RGODC Bowen trophy (high scoring local dog). Watch for Kona in Open A this summer.
