Solid leashes are a training aid for heeling to help keep your dog in the right position & build the habit of correct heel position over time. These are especially helpful for small and toy sized dogs. The basic solid leash is just under 30" including the bolt snap. Tall handlers with toy sized dogs may need a longer solid leash- to order, measure from your dog's collar to your waist while the dog is standing in heel position and enter that measurement below when choosing custom solid leash.

They can also be a great training aid for big dogs- I made this one below to help with Rosie's habitual crowding;

Please note that this item is made with 1/2" CPVC- it is very lightweight, so not for use with big dogs who will pull on the leash- it is a training aid for use in refining heel position.
