Rally Virtual Event Terms & Conditions
- Handlers must follow park/city of El Paso rules during the event; all dogs must be kept on a leash or securely confined except while running a course.
- Handlers are always responsible for their own behavior & their dog's behavior. K9 Fun Works reserves the right to dismiss without refund any dog OR handler whose behavior is unsafe or disruptive.
- Children are the sole responsibility of their parents & handlers who bring their children should not allow them to be disruptive; however, this event will be held in a public park and K9 fun works will not be responsible for the behavior of other park users. There will be distractions, please proof your dogs!
- Handlers are responsible for providing their own bags & promptly cleaning up any pet waste created by their dog(s).
- There are NO refunds in the case of inclement weather, natural disaster, or other act of God.
K9 Fun Works will provide courses & accompanying equipment to video you & your dog. 3 AKC Approved Rally Virtual courses will set up on each date. Please note that ONLY ONE LEVEL will be scheduled for each date, so if you need EXCELLENT videos to submit, don't sign up for a NOVICE date.
10.00 course fee includes up to 2 attempts PER DOG for each course. Sorry, you cannot transfer unused runs to a different dog or use on a different course. Walk through time (without dogs) will be provided before runs start so you have time to familiarize yourself with the course exercises & layout.
Videos will be uploaded to youtube & you will be sent a link to view your video and to submit to AKC using the title portal. You are responsible for submitting your videos to AKC for credit towards your title. AKC assigns a judge to review & score your video. It is your responsibility to learn the exercises & teach skills to your dog; K9 Fun Works is not responsible for your score (qualifying or not qualifying).
Please familiarize yourself with AKC rules & regulations regarding RALLY performances as well as rules for Rally Virtual Performances. Remember, you may not use any treats, toys or other motivators during Rally Virtual runs, and you must declare that at the beginning of your run. You must use only collars & leashes approved by AKC & must declare/show them at the beginning of your run. You must declare your dog's breed, height at the shoulder & jump height (for courses including jumps).
