While there is currently NO REQUIREMENT by law for certification or testing of any kind for service dog teams, this 12 item Public Access Test offers Service Dog handlers an opportunity to guage their dog's readiness to work in a public setting as well as document the results of their hard work as a team.
Dog & handler must meet Southwest Service Dog's criteria to be eligible for certification upon successful completion of the test. This test will be offered quarterly.
Initial testing: $125. Includes certificate & laminated badge good for 1yr from the date of the test.
Re-certification: $50 (teams who have already passed & need to renew credentials)
